Starstruck Classic Race Information
The Starstruck Classic is a 1600 metre set weights plus penalties race for fillies and mares run by the West Australian Turf Club in December. It is held at Ascot as one of the feature races on the programme.

The race dates back to at least 1994 when it was run as a Listed race over 1500m called the WATC Swan Draught Classic and was won by a horse called Sudden Burst. It has also been run as the WATC Emu Export Classic and the WATC Hahn Premium Light Classic before being named the Starstruck Classic in 2001 when Tignadina won. In 2002 the distance was increased to the current 1600m.
